03. How to Use
Follow these 4 simple steps to begin batch importing assets into your project:
Step 1: Open the window
In the Unity top menu, select: Window âž” Bulk Package Importer
Step 2: Add Packages to the Queue
Use any of the following convenient methods:
- Method A (Drag & Drop): Drag files or folders directly from Explorer/Finder onto the dashed drag zone.
- Method B (Folder Ingestion): Click "Add Folder" and select a directory. The tool will parse it and retrieve all packages recursively.
- Method C (Individual Selection): Click "Add Package" to pick individual files.
Step 3: Verify and Filter
- Filter items by name using the built-in search bar.
- Hover over items to view their absolute directory path tooltips.
- Remove individual items with the red hover trash key.
Step 4: Execute Import
Click the green IMPORT ALL PACKAGES button. The importer runs silent imports, displays a cancelable progress slider, refreshes the Asset Database, and pops up a completion window summarizing results.
